This book illustrates Interaction between Iran and India since pre-historic periods which has continued without a major break. The different chapters of the book includes the mutual interaction between the two civilizations through analysis of the archaeological data specially the symbols, pottery paintings, seals, seal impressions, terracotta, etc. The cultural, artistic and trade interactions between these two with the centers of Sumer, Elam, Turan and the Indus civilizations can be best understood by considering these similarities showing an expansion to the indigenous peripheral cultures. This expansion was characterized by direct colonization of the peripheral cultures by populations from the centers of the more advanced civilization.
