About the Author Dr. S. K. Sharma has a brilliant academic record in the faculty of Civil Engineering. He graduated from IIT Kharagpur obtaining B.Tech (Hons.) in Civil Engineering. He did his M.Sc. (Engineering) with distinction from Punjab University and completed his Ph.D. work in record time. He joined Punjab Engineering College and has a teaching experience of more tham thirty years.
