The practice of interventional cardiology in India and around the world is presently undergoing rapid transformation. The number of procedures and the hospitals performing them are increasing exponentially. This is giving rise to a situation where most of the young interventional cardiologists feel a constant need for further learning under expert guidance. During various formal and informal meetings for CSI-NIC—2015, there was a need to publish a book that would be a useful for interventional cardiologists of India.
