The first edition of the book Embalming: Principles and Legal Aspects was published in 1998. It was based on his practical experience in the subject at AIIMS, New Delhi, and outcome of the National Workshop on Embalming and AIDS where need for detailed information on embalming was realized. Care has been taken in the text to provide all the necessary information conforming to the Indian environment and availability of resources in any medical school in the country.
