SpringBoard is a Preschool Program by Periwinkle inspired by the developmentally appropriate approach to early childhood education. It follows ‘The Continuum of Progressive Learning’, a unique philosophy that describes the process of skill development from Curiosity to Competence for the next stage of development. ‘SpringBoard – i for Junior Kg’ is an integrated monthly series for preschool years. It aims to foster holistic development of children in early childhood through stimulating activities. This series is spread across 10 books carefully planned with relevant reading, rhymes and songs, writing, mathematics, storytelling, colouring activities that appear sequentially as the curriculum progresses from simple to complex, known to unknown and concrete experiences to abstract thinking. Theme concepts appear with real photographs of most of the objects introduced to children whereas the stories, rhymes, songs and reader pages are colourfully animated to attract young learners’ interest and liking.
